Why Therapy Matters To Me

While we cannot change our history, I believe we can work to change how it impacts us today. It can feel incredibly lonely when you’re carrying intense emotions and feel like there is no one who truly understands or knows how to listen. I get that. My practice is dedicated to ensuring you don’t have to navigate emotional distress alone, providing a compassionate space to help you find peace within yourself. I am passionate about helping clients remind themselves of the person they know they are on the inside and assisting them in bringing that person back to life!

I value authenticity, empathy and directness. I’m here to kindly challenge you, keep us focused on your goals, and ensure your time is spent on real, tangible growth. I draw from evidence-based tools like EMDR, IFS, and ACT to bridge the gap between understanding your struggles and actually experiencing an emotional shift.

 

Beyond the Room

I view health and wellness holistically, and I practice what I preach. To stay grounded, I prioritize spending time in the sun, whether I’m walking my dog or simply enjoying the fresh air. You can also find me singing, picking up my guitar or at the piano in my spare time!
